National Criminal Intelligence Resource Center

The National Criminal Intelligence Resource Center goal is to reduce and prevent crime, violence, and drug abuse and improve the functioning of the criminal justice system by emphasizing enhanced coordination and cooperation of local, state, and federal efforts. The Bureau of Justice Assistance (BJA) encourages the development and implementation of comprehensive strategies, provides training and technical assistance, reduces the availability of illegal weapons and develops strategies to address violence in our communities, enhances the ability of criminal justice agencies to access and use new information technologies, and encourages and supports evaluation of the effectiveness of funded programs and dissemination of program results in order to reduce and prevent crime and violence. 

National Domestic Communications Assistance Center – Law Enforcement Portal

The National Domestic Communications Assistance Center (NDCAC) is a national center organized under the Department of Justice (DoJ), designed as a hub for technical knowledge management that facilitates the sharing of solutions and know-how among law enforcement agencies, and strengthens law enforcement relationships with the communications industry. NDCAC leverages/shares collective technical knowledge and resources of law enforcement on issues involving real-time and stored communications to address challenges posed by advanced communications services and technologies.

Regional Information Sharing System (RISS)

The mission of the RISS program is to assist local, state, federal, and tribal criminal justice partners by providing adaptive solutions and services that facilitate information sharing, support criminal justice investigations, and promote officer safety. It is composed of six regional centers and the RISS Technology Support Center (RTSC). RISS offers secure information sharing and communications capabilities, critical analytical and investigative support services, and event deconfliction to enhance officer safety. RISS supports efforts against organized and violent crime, gang activity, drug activity, hate crimes, terrorism and violent extremism, human trafficking, identity theft, cybercrime, and other regional priorities.

Western States Information Network (WSIN) provides services to Alaska, California, Hawaii, Oregon, Washington, Guam, New Zealand, and parts of Canada
Rocky Mountain Information Network (RMIN) provides services to Arizona, Colorado, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, Utah, Wyoming, as well as parts of Canada.
FBI’s Law Enforcement Enterprise Portal (LEEP)

The FBI’s Law Enforcement Enterprise Portal (LEEP) is a gateway providing law enforcement agencies, intelligence groups, and criminal justice entities access to over 40 beneficial resources and training modules.

Prosecutor’s Center for Excellence (PCE)

PCE Provides publications, training materials, and other resources for Crime Analysts working in District Attorney and Prosecutor Offices.
